About the role

Engage2excel is looking for an Account Payable Clerk. In this role, you will mainly be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payables records for Engage2Excel. Successful candidates should be computer literate comfortable with MS excel, and should have effective communication skills.

As part of your primary responsibilities, you will:

• Receives, processes, codes vendor invoices
• Reconciles statements and resolves outstanding balances owed by us
• Processes outgoing checks in AP
• Responds to vendor Inquiries and resolves past due amounts
• Responds to internal inquiries and requests
• Other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Two years Accounts Payable experience
• Associate Degree in Accounting preferred
• Experience with JD Edwards preferred
• Must be skilled in dealing with financial and numerical information
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to multitask and handle a large volume of payables
• Excellent problem solving skills in order to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Sharp attention to detail
